Abstract
Se divulga un procedimiento para la estabilización de fibras precursoras para la producción de fibras de carbono. El procedimiento presenta las siguientes etapas: introducir, pasar y extraer de manera 5 continua las fibras precursoras en, por y de una cámara de proceso; ajustar una atmósfera de gas de proceso predeterminada, distinta en la composición del aire ambiente en la al menos una cámara de proceso, conteniendo la atmósfera de gas de proceso al menos un componente reactivo y/o un catalizador con una presión parcial predeterminada; mientras que se encuentran las fibras precursoras en la cámara de proceso, calentar las mismas hasta al menos una primera temperatura y mantener la primera temperatura durante un periodo de tiempo predeterminado.
