Abstract
Una planta de producción de escoria (1) que comprende: - una unidad de precalentamiento (2); - una unidad de calcinación(3); - un horno (4); - un enfriador (5); en donde el ensamble de calcinación comprende un reactor de calcinación (8) para calcinación por combustión de un llamado combustible sólido alternativo, el reactor de calcinación (8) está dispuesto para que: - al menos una parte de los vapores de combustión del horno (4) pasen parcialmente por el reactor de calcinación (8) antes de entrar a la unidad de precalentamiento (2), - un flujo de gas terciario que comprende aire que sale del enfriador (5), que pasa, al menos en parte, a través del reactor de calcinación (8) antes de entrar a la unidad de precalentamiento (2), en donde el reactor de calcinación (8) comprende un sistema para controlar el tiempo de residencia del combustible sólido alternativo.
