Abstract

La presente divulgación se refiere a un proceso de preparación de muestra simplificado, VERA (enriquecimiento viral mediante artefactos de reducción), para inclinar el material genómico total en favor de genomas virales de ADN/ARN. Esta reducción de artefactos genómicos hospedadores se puede completar en <8 horas a partir de la adquisición de muestras. Usando un protocolo de preparación de genotecas rápido (~15 minutos) y secuenciación de nanoporos en tiempo real, se puede identificar la posible contaminación viral, por ejemplo, contaminación viral de ARN, en menos de un día de trabajo a partir de la adquisición de la muestra.
