Abstract

La presente descripción proporciona composiciones y métodos para editar o mutar subtipos específicos de genes de GA20-oxidasa y combinaciones de cigosidad específica de dichas ediciones o mutaciones; también se proporcionan plantas modificadas y partes de plantas y células de estas que tienen mutaciones que reducen la expresión o actividad de genes de GA20-oxidasa, con mejores características, como menor altura de planta y mayor resistencia al encamado, pero sin desviaciones del tipo; asimismo, se proporcionan métodos para realizar plantas modificadas y partes de plantas y células de estas con una o más mutaciones en subtipos específicos de genes de GA20- oxidasa.
