Abstract

Se provee un miembro de estampado en caliente enchapado a base de Fe-Al que presenta una resistencia a la corrosión de la parte formada y una resistencia a la corrosión posterior al recubrimiento excelentes y un método de fabricación del miembro de estampado en caliente a base de Fe-Al. Un miembro de estampado en caliente de conformidad con la presente invención incluye una capa enchapada a base de Fe-Al ubicada en una superficie o ambas superficies de un material base, el material base tiene un componente de acero predeterminado, la capa enchapada a base de Fe-Al tiene un espesor de 10 µm o más y 60 µm o menos, formado por cuatro capas de una capa A, una capa B, una capa C y una capa D secuencialmente desde una superficie hacia el material base, y cada una de las cuatro capas es un compuesto intermetálico a base de Fe-Al que contiene Al, Fe, Si, Mn y Cr para contenidos predeterminados con el resto compuesto de impurezas, la capa D contiene además huecos de Kirkendall, cada uno de los cuales tiene un área de sección transversal de 3 µm2 o más y 30 µm2 o menos para 10 piezas/6000 µm2 o más y 40 piezas/6000 µm2 o menos.
