Abstract
La presente invención proporciona ensayos moleculares basados en algoritmo que implican la medición de los niveles de expresión de genes de una muestra biológica obtenida de un paciente con cáncer de riñón. La presente invención también proporciona métodos de obtención de un puntaje cuantitativo para un paciente con cáncer de riñón en base a la medición de los niveles de expresión de genes de una muestra biológica obtenida de un paciente con cáncer de riñón. Los genes pueden agruparse en subconjuntos de genes funcionales para calcular el puntaje cuantitativo y los subconjuntos de genes pueden ponderarse de acuerdo con su aporte a la recidiva del cáncer.
