Abstract

Un proceso para producir gas de síntesis de amoníaco, el proceso comprende los pasos de: reformar una alimentación de hidrocarburo en un paso de reformado para obtener en consecuencia un gas de síntesis que comprende CH4, CO, CO2, H2 y H2O; desplazar el gas de síntesis en uno o más pasos de desplazamiento en serie; lavar opcionalmente el gas de síntesis que sale de la sección de desplazamiento con agua; enviar el condensado de proceso que se origina del enfriamiento y el lavado del gas de síntesis que sale de la sección de desplazamiento a un separador de condensado de proceso en donde los subproductos de desplazamiento disueltos y los gases disueltos se separan del condensado de proceso usando vapor dando por resultado una corriente de vapor que contiene más de 99% del metanol disuelto en el condensado de proceso; agregar la totalidad o parte de la corriente de vapor del separador de condensado de proceso al gas de síntesis corriente abajo del paso de reformado, antes del último paso de reformado, en donde la relación de vapor/carbono en el paso de reformado y el paso de desplazamiento es menor que 2.6.
