Abstract

En el presente documento se divulgan modalidades de una composición de recubrimiento que comprende nanomateriales de celulosa y sistemas de emulsión. Las composiciones del recubrimiento proporcionan una mejor barrera de humedad y humectabilidad sobre las superficies de la fruta y puede controlar la actividad fisiológica y mejorar la capacidad de almacenamiento de los productos alimenticios, tales como frutas durante el almacenamiento a temperatura ambiente. También en el presente documento se divulgan modalidades de recubrimientos secos y substancialmente secos, películas, productos hechos con las composiciones del recubrimiento, y métodos para hacer y usar las composiciones del recubrimiento divulgadas en el presente documento.
