Abstract
Se divulga un método para preparar ácido 1,4,7,10-tetraazaciclodod ecano-1,4,7,10-tetraacético (DOTA) de fórmula (II), que comprende los siguientes pasos: llevar a cabo una reacción de alquilación en un cicleno de fórmula (I) y XCH2COOR en presencia de un agente de unión de ácidos en agua; ajustar un valor de pH para separar un producto crudo de DOTA y recristalizar. El método de preparación de la presente invención se puede aplicar a la producción industrial a gran escala de DOTA, el proceso total no requiere aplicar ninguna resina de intercambio iónico o modo de refrigeración a baja temperatura para la purificación, y la pureza y el rendimiento del producto son superiores. (ver fórmulas I y II).
