Abstract

La invención se refiere a procesos para formar distribuciones de poliestireno anicónicas iniciadas con hidruro salino mediadas por hidrogeno por medio de condiciones de polimerización novedosa. La presente invención también se refiere a composiciones novedosas de reactivo y catalizador de hidruro salino superactivo soluble en hidrocarburo novedosas y útiles para llevar a cabo las polimerizaciones iniciadas por hidruro salino mediadas por hidrogeno de la presente invención. La invención se refiere además a una composición novedosa de polímero de poliestireno de peso molecular bajo formada exclusivamente a partir de estireno e hidrogeno molecular como los monómeros.
