Abstract
Se describen proteínas pesticidas que presentan actividad tóxica contra especies de plagas de lepidópteros e incluyen, de modo no taxativo, TIC6757, TIC6757PL, TIC7472, TIC7472PL, TIC7473 y TIC7473PL; se proporcionan construcciones de ADN que contienen una secuencia de ácido nucleico recombinante que codifica una o más de las proteínas pesticidas descritas; se proporcionan plantas, células vegetales, semillas y partes de planta transgénicas resistentes a infestación de lepidópteros que contienen secuencias de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes que codifican las proteínas pesticidas de la presente invención; también se proporcionan métodos para detectar la presencia de las secuencias de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes o las proteínas de la presente invención en una muestra biológica, y métodos para controlar plagas de especies de lepidópteros usando cualquiera de las proteínas pesticidas TIC6757, TIC6757PL, TIC7472, TIC7472PL, TIC7473 y TIC7473PL.
