Abstract
La invención se refiere a un aparato para apilar placas de batería que comprende un transportador de distribución para distribuir placas de batería de manera secuencial a lo largo de una ruta de distribución. El transportador de distribución incluye una pluralidad de portadores de placas separados cada uno configurado para soportar al menos una placa de batería en uso, los portadores de placas que definen una serie de separaciones entre portadores de placas adyacentes, en donde cada separación es más grande que la placa de batería. El aparato además concluye un mecanismo de tope, configurado para interceptar de manera selectiva la ruta de distribución en una pluralidad de posiciones de tope graduadas sin obstaculizar el transportador; en donde cuando el mecanismo de tope intercepta la ruta de distribución en una de las posiciones de tope seleccionadas en uso, interrumpe el movimiento de las placas de batería en el transportador de distribución provocando que la placa(s) de batería se mueva fuera del respectivo portador de placas y pase a través de la separación subsecuente del transportador. El aparato también incluye un mecanismo apilador de placas para recibir las placas de batería a medida que se mueven fuera del transportador de distribución por el mecanismo de tope.
