Abstract

La invención describe un proceso y un aparato para aplicar, de manera automática, un elemento reductor acústico (100) a un neumático para ruedas de vehículo. El elemento reductor acústico (100) se guía de acuerdo con una dirección predeterminada y, durante dicha guía, se aplica un material adhesivo (50a) a una primera superficie del elemento reductor acústico (100). En particular, el elemento reductor acústico (100) se coloca en una primera banda transportadora (10) que se puede mover a lo largo de una dirección de alimentación (A) y que tiene en una superficie superior (10a) de la misma, una película continua (50) que soporta una capa de material adhesivo (50a) . El elemento reductor acústico (100) se presiona contra la primera banda transportadora (10) de manera que se adhiere firmemente a una porción de dicha capa de material adhesivo (50a). Como resultado del movimiento de la primera banda transportadora (10) a lo largo de la dirección de alimentación (A), el elemento reductor acústico (100) se transfiere a una segunda banda transportadora (20) colocada en dirección descendente de la primera banda transportadora (10). Durante tal transferencia, la película continua (50) se mantiene en la primera banda transportadora (10) y, tan pronto como el elemento reductor acústico (100) ha dejado la primera banda transportadora (10), la porción de dicha capa de material adhesivo (50a) que se adhiere al elemento reductor acústico (100) se desprende de la capa de material adhesivo (50a) colocada en dicha primera banda transportadora (10). El elemento reductor acústico (100) se recoge entonces desde la segunda banda transportadora (20) y se posiciona en una ubicación predeterminada en una superficie interior radial del neumático de ruedas para vehículo, lo que lleva a dicha primera superficie a, entrar en contacto con la superficie interior radial (501) mencionada.
