Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para fabricar un hilo (I) que consiste en un centro de múltiples filamentos (1) recubierto con un revestimiento polimérico. El revestimiento se produce mediante depósito, en el centro de múltiples filamentos (1), de una mezcla miscible de polímeros fundidos que comprende: al menos un agente ignífugo (4); y al menos dos polímeros que no establecen, en el estado fundido, enlaces químicos permanentes entre sí, con uno de los polímeros, conocido como el polímero coignífugo, que tiene por un lado una temperatura de transición vítrea significativamente menor que la temperatura de transición vítrea del otro polímero, conocido como el polímero base, y por otro lado tiene un punto de fusión también significativamente menor que el polímero base.
