Abstract
Un método para preparar un polímero conjugado incluye una polimerización DHAP de un 3,4-dioxytiofeno, 3,4-dioxifurano o 3,4-dioxipirrol y, opcionalmente, por lo menos un segundo monómero conjugado, en presencia de un catalizador que comprende Pd o Ni, un disolvente aprótico, un ácido carboxílico, a una temperatura mayor de 120°C; por lo menos uno de los monómeros está sustituido con funcionalidades reactivas de hidrógeno, y por lo menos uno de los monómeros está sustituido con un CI, Br y/o I; la polimerización se puede efectuar a una temperatura de 140°C o más, y la polimerización DHAP se puede efectuar sin un ligando de fosfina o un agente de transferencia de fase; el polímero resultante pude presentar una dispersividad menor a 2 y tener un grado de polimerización mayor de 10.
