Abstract

Un método para unir una primera pieza de metal (11) con una segunda pieza de metal (12), las piezas de metal (11, 12) tienen una temperatura de sólidus superior a 1000° C. El método comprende: aplicar una composición depresora del punto de fusión (14) sobre una superficie (15) de la primer pieza de metal (11), la composición depresora del punto de fusión (14) comprende un componente depresor del punto de fusión que comprende fósforo y silicio para disminuir una temperatura de fusión de la primer pieza de metal (11); poner (202) la segunda pieza de metal (12) en contacto con la composición depresora del punto de fusión (14) en un punto de contacto (16) sobre dicha superficie (15); calentar las primera y segunda piezas de metal (11, 12) hasta una temperatura superior a 1000° C; y permitir que una capa de metal fundido (210) del primer componente de metal (11) se solidifique, de tal manera que se obtiene una junta (25) en el punto de contacto (16). También se describen la composición depresora del punto de fusión y productos relacionados.
