Abstract

La presente invención es un método de soldadura por fricción de miembros metálicos caracterizados al iniciar la soldadura por fricción en un estado en el cual el material de inserción conformado a partir de un metal tiene un punto de fusión (temperatura en grados Celsius) de 60 a 80% del punto de fusión (temperatura en grados Celsius) de un miembro metálico que se inserta entre las superficies de unión, las cuales son superficies confrontadas de un par de los miembros metálicos, y funden y extruyen el material de inserción. De este modo, mientras que se eliminan los efectos negativos debidos al calentamiento a altas temperaturas como se ha hecho convencionalmente, se obtiene una calidad de unión equivalente o mayor que lo convencional en un período corto de tiempo.
