Abstract
En la presente invención se da a conocer un método para diagnosticar cáncer, que comprende las siguientes etapas: (1) proporcionar un espécimen a detectarse; (2) detectar el estatus de metilación de la secuencia CpG de por lo menos un gen objetivo que es por lo menos uno de ADRA1D, AJAP1, HS3ST2, MAGI2, POU4F2, POU4F3, PTGDR, SOX17 y SYT9 en el DNA genómíco del espécimen; (3) determinar si se presenta cáncer o lesiones precancerosas en el espécimen de acuerdo con el estatus de metilación de por lo menos un gen objetivo.
