Abstract

Se describe un método para la remoción de un éster (3´) de una mezcla de vapor (5´) que contiene el éster (3´). El método comprende los pasos de poner la mezcla (5´) de vapor (5) en contacto con una solución acuosa (6´) que contiene el ácido (4´) que corresponde al éster (3´), donde una porción del éster (3´) es disuelta o de otro transformada a la solución acuosa (6´) y la solución acuosa (6´) es después del contacto puesta en circulación, la solución acuosa, (6´) es procesada en la circulación (73) en un proceso que comprende: un paso de calentamiento (240), una (10) paso de reacción (250) que tiene un tiempo de residencia y una temperatura, un paso de enfriamiento (260), donde el paso de calentamiento (240) precede al paso de reacción (250), el paso de reacción (250) precede al paso de enfriamiento (260), y el tiempo de residencia y la temperatura en el paso de reacción (250) son suficientes para reducir sustancialmente el contenido del éster (3´) en la solución acuosa (6´). La invención se relaciona (15) además con un aparato 1 para llevar a cabo el proceso. La presente invención se relaciona además también con el uso del aparato (1) en el método de la invención, preferiblemente para la producción de una lactida (13´) o un polímero de ácido poliláctico (12´).
