Abstract
Un proceso para producir un material absorbente basado en celulosa para la eliminación de contaminantes solubles en agua a partir de agua y otras soluciones acuosas, que comprende reaccionar una o más celulosa basada en biomasa conteniendo materias primas con ácido fosfórico diluido donde la mezcla de reacción conteniendo dicha celulosa conteniendo materiales es calentado a una temperatura de reacción y después de la finalización del tiempo de reacción, separación de la solución de ácido fosfórico diluido de la materia prima insoluble restante, neutralización de la solución por medio de un agente neutralizador adecuado resultando en la precipitación de la celulosa modificada, y luego separando, lavando y eliminado el exceso de agua del precipitado resultante.
