Abstract
Se describe una composición de acrílico endurecible de dos partes se describe para el tratamiento de hueso humano o animal. La composición comprende una primera parte líquida de almacenamiento estable y una segunda parte líquida de almacenamiento estable que reaccionan entre sí después de la mezcla para formar un cemento que se endurece. La composición comprende además un componente de monómero acrílico y un componente iniciador en una cantidad efectiva para polimerizar el componente de monómero. El componente de monómero y el componente iniciador se encuentran generalmente en partes separadas de la composición de dos partes para que el componente de monómero sea estable en almacenamiento. La primera parte líquida comprende partículas de polímero acrílico polimerizadas en emulsión en un vehículo líquido. También se describe un método para la producción de una composición de acrílico endurecible de dos partes. La composición es particularmente útil en una jeringa o pistola de retoque, que tiene por lo menos dos cilindros.
