Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para fresar una hilera (2, 13) de dientes de un elemento de engranaje dentado con dientes en una línea recta, que comprende una fresa (10) que puede rotar alrededor de un eje (21) de fresa y tiene en su periferia insertos (5) de corte intercambiables que están dispuestos de manera que cuando la fresa (10) se aproxima al elemento de engranaje dentado intervienen en los huecos (17) entre dientes (12, 13) adyacentes o generan estos huecos, y se refiere a una fresa correspondiente. Con el fin de proporcionar un método para fresar dientes de un elemento de engranaje dentado con las características precedentemente mencionadas, el cual además de una elevada productividad también permite una forma de perfil de diente muy exacta sin faceteados, y con el cual es posible generar incluso perfiles de dientes relativamente complejos sin cambiar o reajustar los insertos de corte que están montados en la fresa, de conformidad con la invención se propone usar una fresa en la que los insertos de corte en su condición montada en la fresa tienen al menos una arista (8a, b) cortante que se extiende radial y perpendicular con relación al eje de la fresa, siendo que durante el fresado del perfil de diente el eje de la fresa se orienta se almea en un plano perpendicular a la extensión longitudinal del lomo de diente y, durante el movimiento de intervención de los insertos (5) de corte, que rotan alrededor del eje de la fresa, en la superficie o huecos entre los dientes de un elemento de engranaje dentado, se bascula en este plano por un intervalo angular que cubre el intervalo de todas las normales a la superficie (12a, 12b; 13a, 13b) de perfil del diente (12, 13) que se deberá producir.
