Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un seguidor (1, 1') de leva para actuar una válvula de cambio de gas de un motor de combustión interna, que comprende una caja (2, 2') y un rodete (3) de leva montado giratorio en cojinete en una cavidad (4) de la caja, para palpar una leva, de un árbol de levas, en donde el rodete de leva se monta radial en un espárrago (8) de soporte mediante un cojinete (12) de agujas que se extiende por el barreno (13) de cojinete, y la anchura (B1) del cojinete de agujas es significativamente mayor que la anchura (B2) del rodete de leva en la región de palpado de la leva. Para este fin, la anchura del cojinete de agujas en la región del barreno de cojinete debiera ser significativamente mayor que la anchura del rodete de leva, y significativamente mayor que la luz (B3) entre las superficies (17, 17') de contacto axial del rodete, las cuales delimitan la cavidad y las cuales el rodete de leva toca axialmente con sus caras (16) frontales.
