Abstract

La presente invención se refiere en general a un proceso para la preparación de derivados de L-tiroxina. Más en particular, la presente invención se refiere a una reacción de yodación de un derivado aromático con un agente yodante apropiado, para así proporcionar el compuesto yodado relacionado como la sal disódica, la cual puede representar un intermediario útil para la síntesis de la sal monosódica de L-tiroxina, y la forma libre de la misma.
