Abstract

Se describe un proceso para la producción continua o semicontinua de fenol/acetona a partir de cumeno, a través de hidroperóxido de cumeno (CHP, por sus siglas en inglés), que comprende: a. producir el CHP en un reactor de transporte aéreo en el cual por lo menos la parte superior y/o inferior del tubo de descenso tiene una combustión, b. dividir el hidroperóxido de cumeno por medio de un tratamiento ácido en un reactor helicoidal que comprende dos intercambiadores de calor conectados en serie y en donde las alimentaciones de CHP y acetona reciente son en pares y cada par se coloca hacia arriba de cada intercambiador.
