Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento mejorado para la introducción de un gas en un cuerpo de líquido dentro de un recipiente de depósito, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) mantener una porción mayor del cuerpo de líquido en una condición de flujo de recirculación; estando separada la porción mayor por medios mecánicos, de una porción relativamente en reposo o inactiva de dicho líquido, pero en comunicación de fluido con ella, teniendo esa porción una interfase de gas-líquido con una fase superior de gas; y (b) introducir una corriente de gas de alimentación directamente en la porción mayor de líquido; de manera que las burbujas del gas formado en el líquido son mantenidas esencialmente en forma dispersa en el líquido de recirculación, en dicha porción mayor del cuerpo de líquido; con lo que el gas y el líquido se mezclan ventajosamente y se recirculan sin pérdida apreciable del gas a la fase superior e gas.
