Abstract
Un molde para fundir metal que permite que se remuevan las impurezas sólidas del metal fundido. El molde (50) tiene una cavidad en el mismo, la cavidad tiene una porción de colada y contigua con la misma un sistema en funcionamiento corriente arriba de la porción de colada, el sistema en funcionamiento comprende una porción (58) de entrada corriente arriba, una porción (60) de salida corriente abajo y una cámara (54) de turbulencia dispuesta entre las porciones (58, 60) de entrada y salida, en donde un filtro (62) se proporciona en una interconexión entre la cámara (54) de turbulencia y la porción (60) de salida. La aplicación también se relaciona con un método para preparar el molde, un patrón para preparar el molde, un alojamiento para su uso en el molde y un método para fundir que emplea el molde.
