Abstract
La presente descripción está dirigida a sistemas, aparatos, dispositivos y métodos para corrección vertebral y espinal. En algunas modalidades, se provee un implante expansible el cual puede insertarse dentro del cuerpo vertebral y/o entre dos vértebras, por ejemplo, para mantener y/o restaurar un espacio en el mismo o entre ellas. En ciertas modalidades, el implante incluye una resistencia mecánica que evita que el implante expansible se contraiga una vez que se ha expandido. También se provee aquí métodos de tratamiento y métodos de uso de tales implantes para aliviar el dolor de espalda (por ejemplo).
