Abstract
Un algoritmo de software (Figura 3) que determina la estrategia mediante la cual un controlador (34) manejará el estado de carga (SOC) de un paquete de batería (32) en un vehículo eléctrico híbrido aunque proporciona siempre al conductor la oportunidad de hacer su propia selección. El algoritmo ocasiona que una de las dos estrategias sea seleccionada cada vez que el interruptor de encendido es operado desde la posición de "apagado" hacia la posición de "encendido". La manera en la cual se ejecuta el algoritmo depende del valor de un parámetro calibrable electrónicamente programado dentro del controlador del vehículo particular cuando el vehículo está siendo construido en la fábrica.
