Abstract
La presente invención proporciona métodos de para producir materiales compuestos, que comprenden combinar partículas de hule entrelazado, con dispersiones de polímero acuosa coaguladas para formar una mezcla en dispersión acuosa y someter la mezcla de dispersión acuosa a pulverización con cizalla en estado sólido para formar materiales que pueden procesarse como termoplásticos a concentraciones de hule entrelazado de 10 a tan altas como 95% en peso, con base en el total de sólidos del material. El método además puede comprender amasar el producto pulverizado para formar artículos útiles, tales como membranas de techado y suelas para calzado.
