Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un molde de colada para colar una pieza colada, en particular un bloque de motor para un motor de combustión, así como al uso de tal molde de colada, que comprende partes 1, 2, 3 de molde y machos 4, 5, 6, 7 de colada producidos a partir de arena de moldeo, y al menos un macho 4, 5, 6, 7 de colada para la formación de un espacio en la pieza colada. El molde de colada según la invención hace que sea posible producir de manera sencilla piezas coladas en las que se forma al menos una sección localmente muy limitada con una microestructura que difiere del resto de la pieza colada. Esto se consigue formando una sección del macho 4, 5, 6, 7 de colada mediante un enfriador 9 que está fabricado en un material cuya conductividad térmica es muchas veces superior a la conductividad térmica de la otra sección 8 del macho 4, 5, 6, 7 de colada, constituida por arena de moldeo.
