Abstract
Se describen sistemas y metodologías que facilitan la adquisición de células eficiente en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica; en un aspecto, una señal de referencia para uso en la adquisición de células se puede construir en una forma agnóstica al ancho de banda de forma que contenga una porción central común en una banda de frecuencia predeterminada que sea independiente de un ancho de banda utilizado por un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica asociado; la porción central se puede construir como un bloque bidimensional en tiempo y frecuencia que abarque un ancho de banda de búsqueda de célula por omisión, un ancho de banda predeterminado especificado por los códigos de sincronización u otras señales, u otro ancho de banda conveniente; una señal de referencial entonces se puede construir a partir de la porción central cubriendo o expandiendo la porción central de forma que abarque todo el ancho de banda del sistema.
