Abstract
Se describen catalizadores de ácido sólidos para utilizarse en procedimientos de alquilación. Los catalizadores de ácido sólidos incluyen un componente multimetálico (por ejemplo, bimetálico trimetálico o tetrametálico) que realiza una función de hidrogenación para la reactivación (o regeneración) del catalizador en presencia de hidrógeno. El catalizador multimetálico incluye un metal noble tal como platino o paladio. La invención también se refiere a procedimientos de alquilación que utilizan los catalizadores de ácido sólidos multimetálicos que tienen un componente multimetálico para hidrogenación.
