Abstract
Una cepa de E. ccli metabólicamente desarrollada mediante ingeniería genética, la cual produce ácido siálico y un método para producir tal cepa. En las células de E. ccli desarrollada mediante ingeniería, los genes de nanT (transportador de ácido siálico) y nanA (adolasa de ácido siálico) están inactivos, y los genes de neuC y neuB de la biosíntesis del ácido siálico en el grupo de Neisseria meningitidis B se introducen y sobreexpresan en la célula de E. ccli nanT y nanA. Además, el gen de la glucosamina sintasa, glmS, de E. ccli se co-sobreexpresa con neuB y neuC.
