Abstract
Se describen catalizadores, sistemas y métodos para reducir emisiones de NOX de un motor de combustión interna. En una modalidad, se proporciona un sistema de tratamiento de emisiones de una corriente de escape que tiene un catalizador que comprende plata en un soporte de alúmina en partículas, la plata tiene un diámetro inferior a aproximadamente 20 nm. Se describen métodos de fabricación de catalizadores en donde plata iónica es impregnada en partículas de alúmina hidroxilada.
