Abstract

La producción de hidrocarburos ligeros que consisten de etileno, propileno, butilenos y de gasolina es aumentada mediante la introducción de una corriente de alimentación de nafta parafínica virgen derivada de una fuente externa hacia un reactor secundario de flujo descendente que utiliza la misma composición de catalizador que una unidad de FCC adyacente para fraccionar la nafta y extraer la corriente del producto de reacción de hidrocarburo más ligero deseado del reactor de flujo descendente y regenerar el catalizador en el mismo recipiente de regeneración que se usa para regenerar el catalizador gastado de la unidad de FCC. La eficiencia de la recuperación de los hidrocarburos olefínicos más ligeros deseados se maximiza limitando la corriente de alimentación al reactor de flujo descendente a nafta parafínica que puede ser procesada bajo condiciones relativamente más severas, mientras que se minimiza la producción de subproductos indeseados y se reduce la formación de coque en el catalizador.
