Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere al aislamiento de componentes valiosos de granos de cereal que permiten los beneficios de ser mas completamente explotados. El concepto de la presente invencion involucra inicialmente, la seleccion de cultivares de granos de cereal tales como trigo, cebada, avena y centeno, que tienen componentes bioactivos deseados que incluyen, antioxidantes, complejos fenolicos, lignanos, flavonoides, vitaminas, fibras, proteinas y otros nutrientes concentrados en una o mas de las capas de salvado externas. Despues, separar la capa de salvado externa en tres fracciones, de conformidad con los componentes bioactivos deseados contenidos en las capas de salvado, que incluyen antioxidantes, complejos fenolicos, lignanos, flavonoides vitaminas, fibras, proteinas y otros nutrientes. Esto permite el maximo beneficio y valor a ser obtenido a partir de las fracciones de salvado como suplementos de dieta, nutraceuticos, o como productos alimenticios enriquecidos.
