Abstract
La pieza de trabajo de la invencion presenta en cuando menos partes de su superficie un recubrimiento duro resistente al desgaste que presenta la siguiente composicion Al1bCd Cra XbSiCBdZ, en la cual X es cuando menos un elemento de Nb, Mo, W, Ta; Z significa N, C, CN, NO, CO, CON; 0.2 <= a <0.5: 0.01 <= b <0.2; O < c <=0.1; 0 <= d <=0.1. Ademas se describe un proceso PVD para depositar una capa resistente al desgaste en el cual cuando menos una pieza de trabajo se instala un sistema de recubrimiento al vacio y el sistema se opera en una atmosfera de argan a presion a baja presion utilizando cuando menos dos objetivos de metal o de aleaciones metalicas con cuando menos la adicion temporal de un gas reactivo.
