Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para la obtención hidrotermica de soluciones de silicato potásico con elevada proporción molar Si02:K20 mediante reacción de un dióxido de silicio cristalino con solución acuosa de hidróxido potásico, caracterizado porque como dióxido de siliciocristalino se emplea un cuarzo recocido a temperaturas en el intervalo de por encima de 1100ºC hasta el punto de funsión y este cuarzo recocido se hace reaccionar con la solución acuosa de hidróxido potásico en un intervalo de concentraciónde 10 hasta 40 por ciento en peso a temperaturas de 150 hasta 300ºC y a presiones de vapor de agua saturado corresepondiente a estas temperaturas en un reactor a presión cerrado.
