Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir cristales uniformes relativamente grandes de una enzima cristalizable, que comprende mantener una solución de enzima cristalizable a una temperatura suficientemente fría para inducir la formación de cristales, mantener dicha solución enfriada en una condición sobresaturada mediante la separación de la solución de una corriente de líquido que contiene cristales de enzima relativamente pequeños, calentar dicho líquido para disolver substancialemente los cristales relativamente pequeños, y regresar el líquido con la enzima disuelta a dicha solución para una cristalización ulterior.
