Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de aceite lubricante que comprende de aceite lubricante y i) una cantidad efectiva para mejorar las propiedades de flujo a baja temperatura de la composición de aceite lubricante, de un aditivo que consiste esencialmente de por lo menos un polímero o interpolímero de bajo peso molecular de éster de carboxi insaturado representado por la fórmula (I) en donde R' se selecciona del grupo que consiste de hidrógeno y COOR, y R es un grupo alquilo de 14 átomos de carbono; y ii) una cantidad efectiva para mejorar el índice de viscosidad de la composición de aceite lubricante, de un aditivo que comprende un copolímero de etileno y por lo menos otro monómero de alfa-olefina, el copolímero comprende cadenas de copolímero intramolecularmente heterogéneas que contienen por lo menos un segmento cristalizable de unidades de metileno y por lo menos un segmento del copolímero de etileno y alfa-olefina de baja alcalinidad, en donde por lo menos un segmento cristalizable que comprende por lo menos aproximadamente 10 por ciento en peso de la cadena del copolímero y tiene un contenido de etileno promedio de por lo menos aproximadamente 57 por ciento en peso, en donde el segmento de baja cristalinidad contiene un promedio no mayor de aproximadamente 53 por ciento en peso de etileno, y en donde el copolímero tiene una distribución de peso molecular caracterizado mediante por lo menos uno de una relación de Mw/Mn de menos de 2 y una relación de Mz/Mw de menos de 1.8, y en donde por lo menos dos porciones de una cadena intramolecularmente heterogénea individual, comprendiendo cada porción por lo menos 5 por ciento en peso de la cadena, difieren en composición una de la otra mediante por lo menos 7 por ciento en peso de etileno
