- 에티렌과 3-20 탄소원자의 알파올레핀으로 된 액상 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체의 에폭시화 생성물과 에티렌과 3-20 탄소원자의 알파올레핀으로 된 액상 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체의 수산화 생성물로부터 선택된 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체로서, 여기서, (i) 액상변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체는 10-85몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량과 15-90몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량을 가지며, (ii) 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체의13C-NMR 스펙트럼내에서, 공중합체의 주쇄내의 두 인접한 tert-탄소원자들간의 메티렌쇄를 기준으로하여β 및 βΤ들이 관측되지 않으며, (iii) 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체는 증기압 오스모메터(Osmometer)로 측정하여 200-10,000의 수평균 분자량(Mn)을 갖고 있으며, (iv) 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체가 에폭시화 생성물일 경우, 그내의 각 에폭시기는 액상 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체의 공중합체쇄의 말단에 의치되며, 또한 에폭시 그룹들의 함량은 액상 에폭시화 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체 100g당 0.01-0.5몰이며, 그리고, 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체가 수산화 생성물일 경우, 그내의 각 수산기는 에티렌이나 알파올레핀으로부터 유도된 탄소원자에 결합되며 또한 액상 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체의 중합체쇄 말단에 위치되며, 또한 수산기의 함량은 액상 수산화 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체 100g당 0.01-1몰인 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제 1 항에서, 액상 에폭시화 에치렌성 랜돔 공중합체로된 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제 2 항에서, 20-80몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량 및 20-80몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량과, 증기합 오스모메터로 측정하여 300-8,000의 수평균 분자량과, 공중합체 100g당 0.015-0.3몰의 에폭시기 함량을 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 30-70몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량 및 30-70몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량과, 증기압 오스모메터로 측정하여 500-5,000의 수평균 분자량과, 공중합체 100g당 0.02-0.2몰의 에폭시기 함량을 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체
- 제 4 항에서, 알파올레핀은 피렌 또는 1-헥센인 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체
- 재 5 항에서, 겔퍼미에이션 크로마토그라프로 측정하여 1.3-2.5의 분자량 분포를 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체
- 제 1 항에서, 액상 수산화 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체인 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제 7 항에서, 20-80몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량 및 20-80몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량과, 증기압 오스모메터로 측정하여 300-8,000의 수평균 분자량과, 공중합체 100g당 0.015-0.5몰의 에폭시기 함량을 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제 7 항에서, 30-70몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량 및 30-70몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량과, 증기압 오스모메터로 측정하여 500-5,000의 수평균 분자량과, 공중합체 100g당 0.02-0.4몰의 에폭시기 함량을 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제 9 항에서, 알파올레핀은 프로피렌 또는 1-부텐인 액상 변성 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체.
- 제10항에서, 겔포미에이션 크로마토그라프로 측정하여 1.3-2.5의 분자량 분포를 갖는 액상 변성 에티렌성 공중합체.

- 제13항에서, 액상 에폭시화 에티렌성 랜돔 공중합체는 20-80몰 %의 에티렌 성분 함량 20-80몰 %의 알파올레핀 성분 함량과, 증기압 오스모메터로 측정하여 300-8,000의 수평균 분자량과, 공중합체 100g당 0.015-0.3몰의 에폭시기를 갖는 윤활유 첨가제.
