Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para produci el complejo A10255 o el factor B,C,D,E,F,G o H o cualquier combinación de los mismos, el procedimiento está caracterizado porque comprende: a) cultivar Strepomyces gardheri NRRL 15537, Strepomyces gerneri NRRL 18260, Streptomyces gardeneri NRRL 15922 o un mutante productor de A10255 de los mismos, en un medio de cultivo que contiene fuentes asimilables de carbón, nitrógeno y sales inorgánicas, bajo condiciónes de fermentación aeróbica sumergida, hasta que produzca el complejo A10255 antibiótico; b) separar opcionalmente el complejo A10255 del medio de cultivo; y c) aislar opcionalmente uno o más factores B,C,D,E,F,G y H del A10255 complejo de A10255 separado.
