Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para revestir tubería instalada, el cual incluye las etapas de tomar una longitud de tubo de revestimiento hecho a partir de un material de plástico con retención de memoria, de un diámetro externo mayor que el diámetro interno de la tubería que va a ser revestida, dirigir el tubo de revestimiento a traves de un dado de embutido, el cual es unido directamente o indirectamente al tubo que va a ser revestido, utilizando un elemento para jalar bajo tensión unido al extremo guía del tubo de revestimiento, y roscado a traves de la tubería para reducir el diámetro externo del tubo de revestimiento por hasta el 15 por ciento, siendo la tensión aplicaa por el elemento para jalar tal que restringe parcialmente la expansión radial de la superficie exterior del tubo de revestimiento después de que este surge del dado, dirigir el tubo de revestimiento a traves de la tubería instalada con su diámetro exterior reducido hasta y/o mantenido en una dimensión menor que la del diámetro interior de la tubería y posteriormente, permitir que el tubo de revestimiento se expanda dentro de la tubería mediante la relajación de dicha tensión, seguida por la expansión inducida por memoria a una presión atmosferica ordinaria y a la temperatura ambiente de la tubería.
