Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para evaporar una solución insecticida, mediante calentamiento, que comprende sumergir una parte de una mecha absorbente porosa dentro de una solución insecticida, para permitirle absorber la solución y calentar indirectamente la mecha en su parte superior, para evaporar la solución insecticida absorbida, caracterizado porque se utiliza una solución de hidrocarburos saturados alifáticos, con 12 a 18 átomos de carbono, que contiene, como un ingrediente activo, el crisantemato de 2-metil-4-oxo-3-(2-propinil)ciclopent-2-enilo, como dicha solución insecticida, se usa una mecha absorbente porosa, preparada aglomerando una substancia inorgánica en polvo con un agente aglutinante, como dicha mecha absorbente porosa y además esa mecha absorbente se calienta indirectamente en su parte superior a una temperatura en el margen de 105 a 130 grados C.
