Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para la preparación de un catalizador para la deshidrogenación de las parafinas C3-C5 a base de aluminio cromo, potasio y silicio caracterizado porque el óxido de aluminio en forma de microgranulos se calcina una primera vez a temperaturas comprendidas entre 500 y 700 grados C, preferentemente aproximadamente 600 grados C, después una segunda vez a temperaturas superiores a 1000 grados C durante varias horas, después el producto calcinado se impregna con una solución que contiene compuestos de cromo y potasio o soluciones separadas de esos compuestos, el producto impregnado se seca y se impregna con una solución de silicio y finalmente se seca y calcina a temperaturas de hasta 700 grados C.
