Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de frita de vidrio exenta de plomo y de arsénico y que tiene un punto de ablandamiento de fibra de aproximadamente 535 grados C, cuando menos; la composición muestra buena resistencia a los productos químicos y consta esencialmente de los sigueintes componentes, en partes por peso: Si2O3 48-57; SiO2 29-38;B2O3 3-8; R2O 2-8; RiO2 0-2; ZrO2 0-8; A12O3 0-2; BaO 0-4; ZnO 0-3; CaO 0-9; RO representa de 0 a aproximadamente 0; R2O3 representa de aproximadamente 57 a 64 y RO2 representa de aproximadamente 32 a 39; la resistencia a los álcalis en porcentaje de pérdida de peso es menor de aproximadamente 0.9; y la resistencia a los ácidos en porcentaje de pérdida de peso es inferior a 0.9, aproximadamente.
