Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir un filamento de poliester que tiene una combinación superior de propiedades de tensión, teñido y contracción, el cual mejora las caracteristicas de las fibras, hilos y telas hechas a partir del mismo, el método está caracterizado porque comprende; la formación de un copolímero de poliester-polietilenglicol de una mezcla que consiste esencialmente de ácido tereftálico o tereftalato de dimetilo, etilenglicol, y polietilenglicol, el polietilenglicol tiene un peso molecular promedio de entre aproximadamente 200 y 1500 gramos de mol y se adiciona en una cantidad suficiente para producir un copolímero de poliester-polietilenglicol en el cual el polietilenglicol esta presente en una cantidad de entre aproximadamente 1.0 y 4 por ciento en peso de copolímero formado; la formación de un filamento del copolímero; el estiramiento del filamento de copolímero y el termofraguado del filamento estirado.
