Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un catalizador para reformación de hidrocarburos, que comprende; una zeolita teniendo cationes intercambiables de los cuales al menos 90 por ciento son iones metálicos seleccionados del grupo que consiste de sodio, bario, litio, potadio, rubidio y cesio y conteniendo al menos un metal seleccionadl del grupo que consiste en el Grupo VIII de la Tabla Periódica de los elementos y teniendo un efecto deshidrociclizador, la zeolita producida por inmersión de una zeolita tipo L antes de calcinar el metal de deshidrociclización cargado en la zeolita L en una solución alcalina teniendo un pH de al menos 11 por un tiempo y a una temperatura efectivos para incrmentar el periódo de un tiempo en que se mantiene la actividad catalítica del catalizador bajo condiciones de reformación. Una zeolita tipo L en una solución de álcali teniendo un pH al menos de 11 bajo una temperatura y por un periódo de tiempo efectivos para incrementar el periódo de tiempo en el cual se mantiene la actividad catalítica. Un proceso de reformación para producir hidrocarburos, conteniendo parafinas al menos C6, que comprende, poner en contacto la alimentación de hidrocarburos en presencia de hidrógeno a temperaturas elevadas con un catalizador que comprende una zeolita tipo L teniendo cationes intercambiables de los cuales al menos un 90 por ciento son iones de metal alcalino y conteniendo al menos un metal seleccionado del grupo que consiste en el Grupo VIII:
