Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de revestimiento que comprende 20 a 80 por ciento en peso de componentes aglutinantes reactivos y 80-20 por ciento en peso de un portador líquido orgánico; caracterizada porque el aglutinante comprende: a) 25 a 90 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso del aglutinante, de un polímero acrílico anhidro que tiene cuando menos dos grupos anhídridos reactivos compuestos de monómeros polimerizados seleccionados del grupo que consiste de alquil metacrilato, alquil acrilato y cualquier mezcla de los mismos, en donde los grupos alquilo tienen 1 a 8 átomos de carbono y el polímero tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso de aproximadamente 2,000-50,000; b) 5-50 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso del aglutinante, de un componente de glicidilo que tiene cuando menos dos grupos glicidilo reactivos; y c) aproximadamente 0.1-7 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso del aglutinante de un catalizador que es un catalizador de fosfonio o una mezcla de catalizador de fosfonio y amina terciaria que puede no contener grupos hidroxilo. Un substrato revestido con una capa de un revestimiento base por arrastre con agua y un revestimiento transparente de la composición caracterizado porque el revestimiento base y el revestimiento transparente se fraguan o curan a temperaturas ambiente o elevadas.
